Barangay Tabucolan is northwest of Bucalag. The name of the barangay was drived
from “tabucol,” a cast net used for catching fish in shallow waters. The suffix
“an” was added to form “Tabucolan.” Most of the people of the purok were called
“Tabucolan,” which means “the place where people use tabucol.”
