I am quite impressed with the web site. Mayor, I don't think you know me- I am the daughter of the late Eloy Bello. I am very proud to be a Santanian, though I never lived in the town, except during the Japanese occupation. The family house is just across from the municipal building. Keep up the good work, may God bless all of you.

Hello! I was informed by other people who know our family that the origin of our last, ARIMBOANGA might be from Ilocos Sur and possibly from Santa and San Nicolas. I am taking my chances by posting this here. I have seen the closest variation, RAMBOANGA. Although my entire family is now based in Northern California, mostly in San Jose, we came from the town of San Marcelino, Zambales, Philippines. Please let me know if you have any information. BTW, Santa's website is the best that I have seen of a small town in the Philippines. The pictures, articles and the layout is excellent. I am very impressed. Naimbag nga aldao tayo amin!

The Santa Tree Park is home to huge and aged
trees. With the streams and waterfalls in this part of the Ilocos Range, it's
indeed a nature lover's haven.
