A skating ring was also constructed for children and teens to spend their free hours.

Kagutungan Falls

This is located at the eastern part of Barangay Daligan and is more or less one (1) kilometer from the barangay proper. Said barangay is 5 km. from the national highway with some portions of the road concreted and graveled respectively. The site, from the barangay proper, is inaccessible by any means of transportation, only by foot. A trail is the only way to reach the place. Near the falls is a spring where residents get their supply of water for their daily needs.

The pond of Kagutungan Falls, as it is called, cover an area of approximately one hundred (100) square meters wide. The falling water has a height of almost four (4) times that of an average person and the depth of the “Ban-aw Lawa” (pond) as called by residents is also approximated to be three (3) meters. It can be noted that the falls is not a man-made one.

The “Ban-aw Lawa” is the deepest among the “Ban-aws” in Daligan.

The Kagutungan Falls water dost not recede of the volume of water remains the same and continuously flowing even during summer.

Perhaps, one may appreciate the beauty of the place because of its crystal-like water and due to the presence of shade trees in which one can feel the freshness of the surroundings.

Concreting of some portions of the road from the national highway to Daligan and improving that in going to the site of the falls will attract some local tourists and perhaps foreigner to visit us, thus, it will become one of the local attractions of the municipality of Santa Cruz.
