PROGRESS REPORT ON
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LCE'S RE-ENTRY PLAN-LADP
Year 2002
Introduction
Almost one year after
the Local Administration Development Program (LADP)
which this Local Chief Executive participated, it is
with honor that this report is presented. With the
interest and welfare of the people we vowed to protect
and promote always in mind the commitments listed in
the Re-Entry Plan were implemented. This was made
possible with the support of the Sangguninag Bayan and
the collective efforts of the offices under the
Executive Branch.
Thus significant
accomplishments have been achieved during the 8 months
that the plan was implemented. Results of the
implementation process and accomplsihments in detail
will be presented in the succeeding pages of this
report.
Implementing the Plan
Like any Chief
Executive, prior to plan implementation, the following
activities were undertaken:
- Convened the Municipal
Development Council and presented the commitments and
program/projects to be implemented. The consultation
undertaken was facilitated by the fact that the
Re-Entry Plan was based on the Municipality's
Development Thrust (Annual Development Plan) 2002.
- Met and discussed with
the concerned Department Heads programs/project
implementation from the time the implementation
commenced until these were completed.
Issues and problems
encountered:
Limited funding has
always been a problem in the LGU. Therefore, we:
-
Prioritized target
beneficiaries
-
Availed cost-sharing
scheme (with Cong. Singson)
-
Tapped resources and
technical expertise of the NGAs like TESDA
To immediately indentify
problems, held regular meetings with concerned
Department Heads. As a result, problems were
minimized and/or avoided.
