PEACE and ORDER & PUBLIC SAFETY

 

1. Strengthen Municipal And Barangay Peace and Order Councils.

2. Strengthen and support Barangay Tanods.

3. Intensify crime prevention campaign.

4. Intensify campaign against drug addiction.

5. Strengthen Intelligence Information Network against drugs and other illegal activities.

6. Organize SK volunteers as drug watchers

7. Establish PNP patrol base in every barangay.

8. Reorganize Municipal and Barangay Disaster Preparedness Coordinating Councils.

9. Improve communication equipment for PNP, Barangay Officials and Barangay Tanods.

10. Search for the Most Outstanding LUPON.

11. Search for the Most Peaceful Barangay.

12. Search for the Most Active Barangay Tanods.

13. Implementation of the Integrated Peace and Order Safety Plan.

14. Honest to goodness implementation of the Fire and Building Code.

 

 

SOCIAL SERVICES

 

1. Human Resource Development

>Encourage officials and employees to take up special courses and attend training/seminar to upgrade their competencies

>Conduct skills and technology transfer on Livelihood projects, small scale business and entrepreneurship.

>Conduct training for the LUPON members.

>Encourage staffs to pass appropriate civil service examination.

>Youth and Sports development.

 

2. Health and Sanitation

>Conduct regular free medical and dental services.

>Acquire additional medical supplies and equipment.

>Conduct regular clinic in all barangay.

.Institutionalizing the ecological waste management system- waste segregation.

>Provide assistance to disadvantaged children, women, senior citizens and disadvantaged families.

>Assist and rehabilitate victims of natural calamities through relief goods, monetary assistance and livelihood project.

>Conduct food rationing to malnourished children.

>Provide ambulant and other emergency services.

>Provision of safe and sanitary source of potable water.

>Search for the Cleanest and Greenest Barangay.

 

 

II. INFRASTRUCTURE

 

1. Concrete paving of all farm- to- market road.

2. Improvement of municipal offices.

3. Acquisition and improvement of municipal dumpsite.

4. Repair and maintenance of school building

5. Construction of school toilets.

6. Construction of water systems.

7. Regravelling and maintenance of barangay roads.

8. Construction of bridges.

9. Improvement of drainage system.

10. Repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and dump trucks.

11. Additional dump truck.

12. Tourism, cultural and historical development.

 

 

III. Economic Services

 

1. Updating the Municipal Revenue Code.

2. Vigorous implementation of the Municipal Revenue Plan based on the newly approved Municipal Revenue Code.

3. More efficient tax collection system through computerization (Treasury and Assessor’s Office).

4. Computerized Local Registration Office.

5. Encourage and support planting of high value crops and cash crops.

6. Fish fingerlings seeds and seedling disposal.

7. Encourage and support backyard gardening, cottage industries, cattle and swine fattening and poultry raising and other sustainable livelihood projects.

8. Support cooperatives to expand their existing livelihood projects.

9. Extend tax incentive to new business entrepreneur.

10. Proper numbering of Market building, stalls and tiendas to facilitate licensing and tax collection.

11. Aqua- Culture Development – sand dunes fish pond.

12. Comprehensive Land Use Plan/Zoning Ordinance

 

 

IMPLEMENTATION AND STRATEGIES

 

1. The Municipality is managed in accordance with the five areas of local governance, to wit:

 a. Management System

 b. Development Planning

 c. Local Fiscal Administration

 d. Local Legislation

 e. Mobilization

  

2. Strict compliance to Local Government Code, and other issuances affecting local governance.

3. Institutionalizing of Local Special Bodies.

4. Regular follow-up/monitoring and evaluation of Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) implementation.

5. Establish linkages networking with the NGAs, POs and NGOs.

6. Teamwork and cooperation.

7. Consultative / Participative Democracy in local governance thru People’s Day

8. Instill moral values like honesty, punctuality, transparency and dedication and commitment to the service.

9. Encourage active and meaningful participation of the NGOs, POs and the private sector.

10. Persistent follow-up of financial request for the funding of municipal projects to higher level..
