INCOME
In the year 2000, the
provinces have an income of PhP 510,355,741.76 which
registered an increase of PhP 171,791,205.81 from the
2000 income of PhP 338,564,535.95. The increase is
attributed to the release of the province’s share of
the excise tax from RA 7171. Below is the comparative
statement of revenue an receipts for 2000 and 2001.
EXPENDITURES
Expenditures for
economic services accounted for 53.44 percent of the
total provincial expenditure followed by health,
nutrition and population control at 20.63 percent and
general public services at 16.13 percent.
While the province is
classified as first class, the highest income
classification among the municipalities is 2nd
class and that is Narvacan. The municipalities of
Sinait, Cabugao, Sta. Maria and Sta. Lucia are 4th
class while the rest are classified as 5th
class.
