Safety Precautions
There is a rare number of
poisonous species of snakes in Ilocos Sur, which may be found
in remote places in the province. Yet, it is still obliged
that you should take note of the following:
- Weather conditions are fair
enough to allow visitors to enjoy the scenic spots around the
province. However, it is advised that sunblocks to prevent
sunburns should be applied whenever prolonged stay under the
sun is expected. Jackets and related clothing for cold weather
in the upland municipalities are a must.
- Mosquitoes in most areas are
inevitable. Mosquito-repellant lotions, mosquito nets and
protective clothing especially during the night should be
worn.
